Is Spring Valley part of Las Vegas?
Not officially. Spring Valley is run by Clark County, though its addresses read Las Vegas, so its permits come from the County.
What are homes like in Spring Valley?
A wide mix of houses, condos and apartments, mostly built in the 1990s and 2000s.
In stacked condos and apartments, a water heater or AC drain leak can reach the unit below, so a slow drip deserves a call before it spreads.
What does Clark County require for a water heater or AC replacement?
A permit before work on a home’s gas, mechanical or plumbing system, with some exemptions. The County sells simple online permits for water heaters and for AC and furnace replacements, one appliance per permit.
