Plumbing leak repair in Las Vegas
AMA Air fixes plumbing leaks across the Las Vegas valley: shut-off valves, supply lines, sinks and toilets. Call (702) 750-2608 or book an $89 diagnostic visit online.
Diagnostic visit
A technician comes to your home, tests the system and finds the cause.
If you go ahead with the repair, the $89 is credited toward it.
Where is the water coming from?
Under a sink
Check the supply lines and shut-off valves first, then the drain trap. A slow drip from a valve stem often means the valve needs replacing.
Around a toilet
Water at the base can be a failed wax seal. A toilet that runs on its own is wasting water through the flapper or fill valve.
A shut-off valve that won’t close
Old valves seize. Replacing them before you need them means you can stop water in an emergency.
A wet wall or ceiling
Turn off the water at the main and call. Don’t open the wall or ceiling until you know which line is wet.
A water bill that jumped
A jump with no change in how you use water usually means a running toilet or a hidden leak. The meter test below tells you which.
Not sure what’s wrong?
A technician can find out. Call now or book a visit online.
If water is leaking right now
- Close the shut-off valve under the fixture, if there is one.
- If the leak doesn’t stop, close your home’s main water shut-off.
- Turn off power to anything electrical that’s getting wet, if you can do it safely.
- Call (702) 750-2608.

Leaks and Las Vegas water
Whether a leak repair needs a permit depends on where the pipe is. In Las Vegas city limits, an exposed faucet or toilet is exempt, but leaking pipe inside a wall, ceiling or floor needs a plumbing permit.
The Southern Nevada Water Authority rebates half the price of a qualifying smart leak sensor, up to $200, for homes on a member water agency. One near the water heater can catch a slow drip early.

From our customers
Very fast I called on a Thursday morning and had a plumber the next morning at 8:30am to replace my hot water shut off valve under my kitchen sink! I would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs! A++++++
I had two separate plumbing issues. AMA Plumbing fixed both issues. Communication was great. Very pleased with the work done for me.

Questions
Do you replace shut-off valves?
Yes. We replace shut-off valves and supply lines under sinks and toilets, a common repair once the old valves seize or start dripping.
How do I know if I have a hidden leak?
Turn off all faucets and appliances that use water, then watch your water meter. If it keeps moving, water is leaking somewhere in the home.
Where is my main water shut-off?
Usually near the front hose faucet, in the garage, or at the meter box near the street, though it varies by home. Find it before you need it.
