Maintenance, not a home warranty
The AMA Care Plan pays for upkeep: the visits, no diagnostic fee and member pricing on repairs. It doesn’t pay for a part that fails.
If you have a home warranty, covered failures still go through your warranty company. The plan keeps the equipment maintained between claims.

- The membership runs for 12 months.
- The 10% discount applies to repairs, not to new equipment.

What if an AMA Care Plan visit finds a problem?
You get the repair price, with the 10% member discount, and decide. Nothing is fixed without your approval.
Can I join the AMA Care Plan if I rent?
The AMA Care Plan covers the home’s systems, so the owner usually decides. Renters should check with their landlord or property manager first.
